Printer Questions

What kind of printer can I use?
We support the use of both thermal printers and normal inkjet/desktop printers for Ship.com. We do not recommend any particular brand, but feel free to let us know if you have a favorite!

What type of labels should I use?
We do not recommend a specific brand of labels, but there are specific sizes of labels to use with our system.  If you are using a thermal printer you can use either “4x6" or "2-5/16x4" sized labels.  For normal inkjet/desktop printers you can only use labels that print two to a page, on a normal 8.5 x 11 in. sheet.

How do I set my printer up with my account?
You can easily set up your printer when you purchase your first label.  From the Purchase Shipping Label modal you will use the dropdown at the top of the box to select Normal - Half Page, Thermal - Wide, or Thermal - Skinny.
